John Zuppardo
John’s upbringing was marked by the positive impact of his family’s business on the New Orleans area, which deeply influenced his passion for serving his beloved city. He attended college at Mississippi State University on a full scholarship as a former NJCAA Champion and collegiate athlete. John earned a Bachelors of Arts and Science and later returned to his hometown Metairie. As a former collegiate athlete, John developed characteristics of being competitive, goal oriented, and a natural leader. This led him into Sales in the Home Improvement industry where he began to see the need for trustworthy and reliable contractors. John and his best friend, Ross Heffner, believed they could change the narrative about contractors and together they created Zuppardo’s Renovations.

Ann Zuppardo
Ann is a graduate of the University of Mississippi where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Marketing. She previously worked in the marketing industry as Lead Visual Merchandiser for a multi-billion dollar retailer. She then transitioned into a CS Management role in the Home Improvement industry where she oversaw company sales, client accounts and other support operations to ensure customer satisfaction and company succession. With customer satisfaction being a driving force behind the creation of Zuppardo’s Renovations, John and Ross felt it necessary to have Ann on the team. Here at Zuppardo’s Renovations, Ann serves as Manager of Business Operations including financing, marketing, and customer support.

Ross Heffner
Ross has had a passion for design since the age of seven building and creating arts, crafts, and clothing. At 23 years old, he started a men’s clothing brand beginning in New Orleans and expanding to over seven countries. During this time he completed his first home renovation and fell in love with the art of it. The astounding transformation intrigued him into purchasing and renovating homes throughout the city. After doing one, then another, and then another it became his true love. Through this process, he realized some contractors weren’t using the highest quality of workers and materials, so Ross started seeking them out for himself. Witnessing the need for high-quality contractors who put their customers first in the New Orleans area he teamed up with his best friend, John Zuppardo, and created Zuppardo’s Renovations to prioritize homeowners and offer quality workmanship.

Project Manager
Danny Gutierrez
Danny’s journey in construction began early, influenced by his stepdad who worked in the industry. He started as a helper at Lightning Services, specializing in electrical and AC work. After nearly three years, he advanced to lead installer. Seeking new challenges, he transitioned to a sales representative / consultant role at another firm to broaden his industry knowledge and collaborate with his longtime friend Ross. This experience paved the way for Danny to work alongside Ross and John in building Zuppardo’s Renovations. Danny values serving his community and lives by the motto “the client’s satisfaction always comes first.”
